Keeping Dogs Home. Building Stronger Communities.
At Little Bit of Luck Rescue, we believe the best rescue is the one that never has to happen.
Through education, support, and advocacy, we help families develop the skills and confidence needed to keep their dogs where they belong—at home, with the people who love them.
Our Mission
Every day, animals are abandoned, neglected, abused, or left to face the world alone. Some are hungry. Some are injured. Some have never known kindness. Many have no one searching for them, no safe place to go, and no voice to ask for help.
At Little Bit of Luck Rescue, these are the lives we exist to save.
We believe that every animal deserves the chance to feel safe, to be loved, and to know that their past does not define their future. Our mission is to be the little bit of luck that changes everything for the animals who have run out of options, the ones who would otherwise be overlooked, forgotten, or lost.
As a foster-based rescue, every kennel, every foster home, and every dollar is precious. Because our resources are limited, we choose to dedicate them to the animals facing the greatest need: those who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or are at immediate risk of losing their lives. While we understand that families sometimes face difficult circumstances, our rescue exists first and foremost to give hope to the animals who have no one left to fight for them.
But rescue alone is not enough.
We believe lasting change comes through education, compassion, and supporting responsible pet ownership. By helping people better understand the lifelong commitment of caring for an animal, we hope to reduce neglect, prevent unnecessary suffering, and create a future where fewer animals need rescuing in the first place.
Every animal that comes through our doors is treated as family. They are given time to heal, patience to learn to trust again, and every opportunity to discover what it feels like to be loved. We celebrate every milestone, from the first wag of a fearful tail to the first peaceful night's sleep, because those moments remind us why this work matters.
We know we cannot save every animal who needs us. That truth is heartbreaking.
But for every life we are able to reach, everything changes.
A scared dog becomes a beloved family member. A forgotten cat finds warmth instead of cold nights. An abused animal learns that gentle hands exist. A life that once seemed destined to end in fear is given the chance to begin again.
That is why we do what we do.
At Little Bit of Luck Rescue, we aren't just finding homes, we're restoring hope, rebuilding trust, and giving forgotten animals the second chance they deserve. We will continue to stand beside those who have no voice, fight for those who have no one else, and be that little bit of luck when it matters most.

About Little Bit of Luck Animal Rescue
Little Bit of Luck Animal Rescue was founded on January 20, 2024, by Jocelyn Fall and her family. While the rescue itself is new, Jocelyn’s journey in animal welfare began more than a decade earlier. After the loss of her beloved pup, Luckey, in 2012, Jocelyn felt called to honor his legacy by rescuing animals in need and supporting other rescue organizations wherever help was needed.
Today, Jocelyn is the heart and soul of Little Bit of Luck Rescue, working hands-on alongside her children and a small, dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes. At LBL Rescue, we firmly believe in quality over quantity—ensuring every animal in our care receives individualized attention, proper medical care, and the time they need to thrive.
Our mission goes beyond rescue alone. We are deeply committed to education and support for adopters, working closely with each home to ensure the right match and a truly lifelong placement. Every adoption is approached with care, honesty, and the best interest of the animal at its core.
In addition to caring for the majority of animals in our rescue, Jocelyn also hand-makes a variety of items sold to help cover veterinary bills and the ongoing needs of the animals in care. Every purchase, donation, foster placement, and adoption directly supports the lives we save.
Little Bit of Luck Animal Rescue exists because sometimes, all an animal needs is a little bit of luck—and someone willing to step up and believe in them.

About Me.
My name is Jocelyn, and I have been rescuing animals and supporting other rescues for over 15 years. In January of 2024, I finally took the leap and started my own rescue—something that has been a dream and a goal of mine since 2012.
On June 20, 2012, after losing my very first pup due to tragic circumstances, I made a promise to myself: one day I would start a rescue of my own. That promise was rooted in a deep desire to fight animal abuse and neglect, to promote animal welfare, and to be a voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves. One day, I hope to help create real change by advocating for stronger animal welfare laws, so those who harm or abandon animals are finally held accountable.
For now, we are still a smaller rescue, and our primary focus is on the animals we are actively helping. The animals in our care are looked after primarily by me, with my little minions always right by my side. We have been incredibly fortunate to have had a few amazing fosters already, and we hope to continue growing our foster network so we can help even more animals of all shapes and sizes.
We are also beginning to build strong relationships with other wonderful rescues and organizations that share our mission. You’ll often see us sharing their posts, fundraisers, and animals in need—just as they do for us—because we truly believe that working together allows us to reach farther and help more lives.
Our goal is not to be the biggest rescue, but to be a quality rescue—one where every animal that comes through our doors feels loved, safe, and valued, and receives the individual care and attention they deserve.
